our hike Depending on weather and conditions, we have two options of trails from here; the more classic route is a walk along the lake to the other end until Laguna Artesoncocha, about 6 km / 2.5 hours. RECOMMENDATIONS & GENERAL INFORMATION
The tour is pleasant, given that from the beginning this hike lends pleasant view of the surroundings. Those arriving from the very low level can feel the altitude, may also have some mild symptoms, of course everything depends a lot on each, in addition if you want to get up to over 4,500 meters it would be necessary to take another smaller walk near Huaraz to test your condition and your adaptation to altitude
Despite being a 2.5-kilometer hike, the hiking trail consists of rocky sections that need a lot of concentration during walking, each stone must be tested before stepping on it, sometimes it is necessary to use the hands to get a better balance .
