The Llaca Lake with the Ranrapalca Glacier is a pleasant trip (day hike) to a long valley, mainly renowned for rock and snow climbing in the central Cordillera Blanca. This trekking route follows one of the fascinating valleys of Llaca in the Huascarán National Park that’s still reasonably unspoiled. It offers grand panoramas and vistas of the snow-capped Ranrapalca, Ocshapalca, and Janyaraju mountains, with the colorful Llaca River flowing through the short valley plain.
